Profile

After completing my undergraduate and master’s degrees in art history, a microprogram in education, and a doctorate in semiology, I happily switched gears to horticulture (DEP, ASP) and arboriculture (ISA certified). I then continued my university studies at the graduate level in forestry.
My work now lies at the intersection of arts, social justice, and ecology. As an ecofeminist writer, I have published four solo works and contributed to several collective creative works under the pseudonym Pattie O’Green. In 2020, I founded the socio-ecological transition project Cœur d’épinette (Montreal and Haute-Gaspésie), whose mission is to promote connection to the land and community mobilization through the arts, literature, and popular education.
