• 2024-11-26: Next Tuesday, December 3, the library invites you to a Christmas-themed wellness day! Start off by showing your SPU student ID at the service desk to receive a voucher redeemable for a hot beverage at Café Urban*. Then, fill up on cuddles during a pet therapy session from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You can also join us for a Christmas ornament decorating activity from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. (no registration required, supplies provided). We’ll finish the day with a Christmas Movie Night at 6 p.m., popcorn included. In fact, you can vote for the movie you want to watch here. *Voucher valid only on December 3, 2024, in exchange for a medium-sized regular coffee, tea, herbal tea, or hot chocolate. While supplies last.
• 2024-11-26: From December 2 to 13, it’s Cookie Mayhem at the library! Simply show your SPU student ID at the service desk to receive your cookies (limit of once per day, while supplies last). 
• 2024-11-21: We want to hear from you! Help us choose what movie we’ll show at our upcoming Christmas Movie Night on December 3 at 6 p.m. Vote here, and make sure you circle December 3 in your calendar—we’ll have other Christmassy announcements for you very soon!

While this is due to circumstances that are entirely out of our control, we sincerely apologize for these disruptions and acknowledge that they may inconvenience you. • 2024-02-13: We have updated our APA Style (7th ed.) citation handout. We have added more examples of commonly used sources as well as guidance that is clearer and more detailed. You can find the handout in the citation styles research guide or on the Writing Centre’s webpage.
