Today, Saint Paul University (USP) and Bethlehem University, located in Palestinian territory, celebrated a new partnership during a signing ceremony on the USP campus.
“We are very proud of this partnership with Bethlehem University and look forward to the collaborative opportunities that will arise from this agreement,” said Dr. Louis Patrick Leroux, Rector of Saint Paul University. “Our two institutions, rooted in the Catholic tradition, share many values and a common vision of international cooperation, civic engagement, and social justice. By working together, we will empower our students and faculty to create positive change in communities around the world.”
The signing ceremony was followed by a public presentation titled “Higher Education in Occupied Holy Land: The Experience of Bethlehem University.” This event highlighted the challenges faced, as well as the resilience of students, faculty, and staff at the university during these times of war.
