Program description
The Graduate Diploma in Canonical practice is intended for those who serve in tribunal ministry, or are preparing for such ministry – particularly as auditors, procurators, advocates, notaries, tribunal directors. The program provides an overview of the Church’s substantive and procedural marriage law. The objective of the program is to allow students to acquire or deepen the knowledge and practical skills necessary for ministry in ecclesiastical tribunals.
On completion of the diploma, qualified students meeting admission requirements may apply for admission to the Master of Canon Law program and, on admission, complete the requirements of this program with credit granted for relevant courses already completed in the diploma.
