January 28th, 2025
12 pm to 1:30 pm (EST / UTC-5)
This free webinar is offered online and in English only.
On 2 April 2024, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith issued Dignitas infinita, a declaration on human dignity. Following a brief overview of this declaration, this webinar will display the development of the Church’s safeguarding efforts, from the perspective of canonical discipline. The webinar will demonstrate that the advances of safeguarding intend to reflect the infinite dignity of minors and vulnerable adults. It will also offer suggestions for further expansion of safeguarding against other abuses against human dignity within the synodal Church.
