Profile

Sogol Kafi (she/her), PhD(c), MA, RP, is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Since 2010, Sogol has worked in mental health and has maintained an independent clinical practice in Ontario, serving diverse individuals, couples, and parents of young children across the lifespan.

Since 2022, Sogol has been a part-time professor in the Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy program at Saint Paul University, where she teaches theory and practicum courses and supports the development of emerging psychotherapists.

Her clinical work and doctoral research focus on personality and psychotherapy, with a particular interest in how relational patterns shape psychological well-being.

As a certified member of the Self in Relationship Psychotherapy Institute in Ottawa (formerly the Object Relations Institute of Ottawa), Sogol has served on the board of directors since 2014 and provides consultation and supervision to graduate-level trainees.
