Profile
Philippe Blouin is an anthropologist studying intercultural alliances in social justice, ecological and Indigenous resistance movements. He accompanies survivors of forced assimilation and institutionalization as they navigate legal, archival and archaeological means to investigate and protect unmarked burials. His current research explores how Indigenous traditions of psychological peacemaking can contribute to survivors’ search for truth, justice, and healing.
