Program description
The objective of the Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality program is to train specialists who can guide and counsel individuals and couples regarding their values, their spirituality, and their individual or couple dynamics, as well as prepare graduates for a career in research.
Students in the program can specialize in one of two different concentrations:
- individual counselling
- couple and family counselling
Each concentration in the M.A. program includes three components:
- knowledge acquisition;
- a research project; and
- professional practice.

Registration: full-time or part-time
Program length: 5 terms (2 years)
Program delivery: some courses are also offered online.
Language: this program is also offered in French.
Scholarships
Students registered in this program may be eligible for a number of scholarships.
This degree is conferred jointly by the Senates of Saint Paul University and the University of Ottawa.
