Purpose
The workshop creates a participatory space where knowledge is co-produced across research, policy, and community perspectives, with a focus on actionable outcomes and real-world impact.
Structure
The session moves from context and policy analysis to group-based problem solving and knowledge mobilization, progressing from understanding to application.
Core Activities
Participants engage in policy analysis, small-group work on systemic, institutional, and individual barriers, and the development of practical communication and dissemination strategies.
Learning Focus
Structural analysis of inequities, understanding policy frameworks such as IFHP and OHIP, and designing approaches to translate research into usable knowledge.
Outcome
Participants leave with concrete outputs, including key messages and dissemination approaches tailored to policy, community, and practitioner audiences.
Foundation
This workshop builds directly on the insights generated in the roundtable discussion.
