Scholarly Conference Participation Program – Graduate Students
As an institution of higher learning, Saint Paul University seeks to offer the most comprehensive academic and research training possible. To that effect, it is enhancing its support to its Ph.D. students by creating a student travel grants program, which will be instrumental in further disseminating graduate students’ research work.
The program supports Ph.D. students who give papers to disseminate research findings related to their thesis.
Amount
An eligible candidate may receive up to $500. The amount received may be used to defray travel and food expenses, as well as registration fees.
Deadlines
January 1, May 1 and September 1.
Competition
Grant requests are studied by the Research Committee during the January and September competitions in a given fiscal year. Travel grant requests will be examined only within the framework of said competitions, and must be submitted prior to the learned society meeting to which they are linked.
