Program description
The main purpose of this program is to provide undergraduate students with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to engage with current ecological and social issues from multidisciplinary perspectives. With these factors and impacts in mind, the objectives of the programs are to:
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of present socio-ecological issues;
- Critically evaluate major theories and concepts in the fields of Leadership, Ecology and Equity;
- Integrate multidisciplinary theoretical and practical approaches to address the ongoing climate and other socio-ecological crises including current and future responses;
- Provide the students with a well-rounded education on environmental issues that will be relevant for their professional career path and will positively impact economic and ecological sustainability in Canadian.
