Profile
Michel’s main areas of research include intercultural theology, theologies of inter-religious dialogue, and the relation between religion, faith, and culture. The primary focus of his current research is reconciliation of the church with the Indigenous peoples in the Americas and dialogue with Indigenous spiritualities, with a particular emphasis on the Canadian context. Another area of his academic interests is the contemporary developments among the Christian communities of the Middle East.
