Saint Paul University is pleased to announce the launch of a new five-part podcast series, recorded at La Cité collégiale in partnership with LeDroit. This series, exclusively in French, aims to offer the public enriching discussions on a variety of current topics and expertise specific to Saint Paul University.
The podcasts will be released on the first Sunday of each month, with the first episode available starting February 2, 2025. The topics covered include:
- “Artificial Intelligence: Serving Whom and What?”
An episode that reflects on the impact of artificial intelligence on our future, examining its ethical and social implications, in dialogue with Professor Jonathan Durand Folco. - “What is Transformative Leadership?”
In conversation with Professor Bianca Briciu, this episode explores the concept of transformative leadership and its role in creating positive change in various sectors and communities. - “Sign Languages: A Social and Political Issue in the Age of Minorities”
In this episode, the discussion with Professor Julie Châteauvert, highlights the role of sign languages as minority languages and their importance in promoting inclusiveness and social justice. - “Why Do We Harm One Another? Reflections on Rape as a War Strategy and Its Impact on Communities”
An intense and necessary episode that looks at sexual violence in conflict zones and its long-term effects on the communities affected, presented by Professor Buuma Maisha. - “The University of Tomorrow: What Role Ahead?”
This final episode looks at the future of universities and the essential role they will play in tomorrow’s society. The conversation will take place live at Université Saint-Paul, with Rector Louis Patrick Leroux and François Carrier, Managing Director of Le Droit. Everyone is invited to attend.
