In these courses, students acquire conceptual and practical skills to understand and value diversity in community contexts. These skills respond to critical contemporary concerns for collective well-being.

Significance and scope of worldviews and values in shaping communities. Diversity of cultural expressions and their role in community development.
Introduction to interdisciplinary perspectives on the role and shaping of creative spaces in community practises. The diversity of inner spaces and outer environments involved in sustainable community engagement.
Analysis of conscious and unconscious dynamics in community settings, using a range of psychological, sociological and ethical perspectives.
Creative dynamics of resilience and failure in individual and community practises, using case studies and practice-based projects.
Emergence of individual and collective stories of identity in communities, and the enactment of these identities in community development, especially through rituals and processes such as storytelling and mythologizing.
