About Us

Facilities Services is a team of experts responsible for providing the Saint Paul University community with quality services in a timely fashion. We strive to continuously improve the facilities while sustaining a positive environment that promotes excellence in teaching, research and professional formation as part of the local, national and international academic community.

Facilities Services is responsible for the majority of services for the Saint Paul University campus. This includes:

  • Facilities development
  • Building maintenance and cleaning
  • Utilities and energy management
  • Landscape and grounds maintenance
  • Security services and emergency planning
  • Recycling and waste management
  • Conference services

Services

Our services are available to Saint Paul University students, faculty, support staff and rental clients. Need a hand with something? Choose from the list below and follow the attached instructions for the quickest response to your request. Here is what we do :

Keys (New or Replacement)

For security reasons, all new or replacement keys for rooms in the University must be approved by the Director of the department concerned and by the Director of Campus Services. It is the department’s responsibility to ensure that keys that are no longer needed are returned to Campus Services immediately. There is a $25 charge for replacing a misplaced key.

Please follow the steps below to submit a request for keys:
1. Fill out the key request form.
2. Print a copy of the form.
3. Submit the form to the Director of your department or the Dean of your faculty for signing.
4. Send the form to Campus Services via maintenance@ustpaul.ca or intra mail.

Office Rental or Move Requests (Internal Requests only)

All new offices or office moves must be approved by the Director of the department concerned, the Vice-Rector Administration, and the Director of Campus Services. Please note that requests must be submitted by email, fax or intra mail, or hand-delivered to the Campus Services office at least two weeks before the potential moving date.

Please follow the steps below to submit an office rental or move request:

  1. Fill out the form that best suits your needs: New Office/ Office Move.
  2. Print a copy of the form.
  3. Submit the form to the Director of your department or the Dean of your faculty for signing.
  4. Send the form to Campus Services via email or intra mail, or bring the form to Campus Services, office G34, Laframboise Hall.
Cleaning

Cleaning inside and outside the building, such as the following:

  • Floors
  • Large spills
  • Garbage / Recycling
  • Outdoor cleanup

The fastest way to send us your request is to use the HELP REQUEST form. Please submit only one request per form.

Maintenance and Repairs

Maintenance and repairs to the interior and exterior of buildings, such as the following:

  • Doors / locks
  • Electrical outlets
  • Furniture (remove, repair or request)
  • Heating and cooling
  • Installation of items on the wall
  • Lighting
  • Outdoor maintenance
  • Windows

Multiservices Centre

The Multiservices Centre combines under one roof all services pertaining to photocopying, bookbinding, the mailroom, printer cartridge recycling and the administration of parking.

Conference Services

Are you looking to rent a meeting room or space? Saint Paul University has a variety of spaces available for rent. We offer meeting rooms, classrooms, office space and outdoor venues.
