• 2025-11-20: Upcoming library events:
  • December 2: Wellness day with pet therapy (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; attention: the pet therapy event will take place in the university’s amphitheatre), Christmas ornament decorating (12:30 to 3 p.m.; drop in anytime), and free hot beverages (all day; show your SPU student ID at the service desk to receive your voucher).
  • December 3: Christmas gift wrapping activity (12 to 2 p.m.). Bring the gifts you want to wrap and we’ll provide wrapping supplies. Drop in anytime, no registration required.
  • December 1–12 (except weekends): Cookie Mayhem! Show your SPU student ID at the service desk to receive your cookies (once a day, while supplies last).
• 2025-11-13: A new version of our Chicago Style (18th ed.) citation handout is now available. You can find the handout in the citation styles research guide and on the Writing Centre’s webpage.
• 2025-11-04: We have new handouts summarizing APA, MLA, and Chicago citation styles’ main paper formatting guidelines (font, line spacing, title page, etc.). You’ll find the handouts on the Writing Centre’s webpage and in the citation styles research guide.
