Graduate Diploma in Social Organization Development
Download the program description (PDF)The School of Social Innovation of the Faculty of Human Sciences at Saint Paul University offers a Graduate Diploma in Social Organization Development. This diploma is conferred jointly by the Senates of Saint Paul University and the University of Ottawa under the terms of the federation agreement between them.
The study and practice of social organization development cover the creation, the consolidation and the strengthening of organizations working in the social field (NPOs, social movements, foundations, charities, co-ops, etc.).
This program is directed at a specific clientele: people already working in the field (employees and management of social organizations, social entrepreneurs, activists, community workers, trade unionists, members of cooperatives and some workers from the public and parapublic sectors); people who already have professional experience but wish to reorient their careers and start their own innovative project.
The program, based on the linking of theory with practice, provides students with the main analytical frameworks and approaches needed to meet the current challenges facing social organizations.
