Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise

In January this year, the Government of Canada announced the creation of an independent Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise (CORE), the first of its kind in the world. With the mandate of to investigating allegations of human rights abuses linked to Canadian corporate activity abroad, the creation of CORE raises many questions as well as expectations.

Join us on this fruitful dialogue and detailed presentation of CORE, its objectives and its foreseeable milestones, and understand the concerns and hopes that come with the establishment of such an innovative step towards the defense of human rights and the promotion of social justice.
