Workshops on OGS Program & SSHRC Scholarships

Workshop 1: OGS Program & SSHRC Doctoral Scholarships ($15,000 and $35,000)

 

For students in the last year of their MA, and doctoral students

Goals: To encourage graduate students to apply to governmental organizations (federal and provincial) for scholarships. The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) doctoral scholarships will be presented.

Eligibility criteria for scholarships, their monetary value and their special characteristics will be explained in detail. Students will also receive pointers and helpful advice for effectively completing a scholarship application.

For students in the 4th year of their BA, and first-year MA students

Goals: To encourage graduate students to apply to governmental organizations (federal and provincial) for scholarships. The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) master’s scholarships will be presented.

Eligibility criteria for scholarships, their monetary value and their special characteristics will be explained in detail. Students will receive pointers and helpful advice for effectively completing a scholarship application.
