Over the last 60 years, at least 40% of all internal conflicts have been linked to the exploitation of natural resources.

Armed conflicts take lives and leave scars in generations to come. However, we don’t always look beyond our own tragedies, and thus the effects of conflict towards nature are usually forgotten.

Join us in this great brown-bag dialogue with PhD candidate Martin Samson to find out more about the ecological effects of war.
