Description

This master’s-level seminar is intended for people working in the public, parapublic and community sectors (municipal, provincial, federal) who have a B.A. It is designed to create a space for dialogue, discussion and innovation regarding new technologies in the workplace. Borrowing from organizational ethics, public policy analysis and theories related to algorithmic mediation, this seminar uses case studies to identify the challenges related to new technologies and seeks to equip participants so they can tackle these challenges in their own workplace.

Guest speakers will join us to share their expertise in this field. For the complete list of guest speakers, please click here.

Students will conduct a case study during the course. If applicable, they are invited to choose a case related to their work. Experts can also guide them in their thinking on the issues raised.
