Update Regarding the Spring/Summer and Fall Terms

To the University Community,

It is with great optimism that I bring you the following update on the spring/summer and fall terms.

Ottawa Public Health has presented its vaccination distribution plan and it is anticipated that most members of Ottawa’s general public will be vaccinated by August 2021. With this in mind, we would like to share the following two items:

courses for the spring/summer term will continue to be offered by distance learning and online;
we fully anticipate the fall term to be delivered mainly on campus -- some courses, however, will be delivered in a hybrid in-class and distance learning style as usual.

More information will be provided in the following weeks and months.

I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to all of you for your collaboration this past year. Although it has been an extremely trying time, I find solace in the fact that many of us used this time to reflect introspectively, to find new ways to strengthen our relationships and to continue to grow.
