The Sophia Research Centre is pleased to announce the 2019 bursary
The Sophia Research Centre has been an active member of the research community at Saint Paul University for over 20 years. Originally founded to support women researchers and feminist thought at the university, the Sophia Centre continues this work through a range of activities, including the organization of research-centred events and bursaries.
The Sophia Centre is pleased to offer 2 bursaries of $1,000 to support full-time students at Saint Paul University. The bursaries focus on research engaging with or related to justice and women, Trans and Two-Spirit people, gender and intersectional feminisms.
Closing date: April 30, 2019
Applications will be assessed in light of the candidate’s critical insights and analysis of social systems and how they impact on lived realities. A diversity of research areas will be considered as they reflect the many aspects of gender analysis.
Indigenous, racialized and bi-racial, and LGBTQ2S+ candidates are encouraged to apply.
