SPU Professor Co-Edits New Book About the Contemporary Ethics of Hospitality, Gift and Care
Saint Paul University (SPU) is proud to announce the publication of a new French-language book, Les éthiques de l’hospitalité, du don et du care : Actualité, regards croisés, at the University of Ottawa Press.
This collective work is co-edited by Sophie Cloutier, an associate professor at SPU, in collaboration with Sophie Bourgault and Stéphanie Gaudet, both professors at the University of Ottawa.
The ethics of hospitality, gift and care have gained importance in recent years. In this book, the authors wish to open a more explicit interdisciplinary dialogue between these three ethical paradigms. They also assess the current relevance of each of these ethics in relation to important contemporary issues.
