Snack and chat: Emotional intelligence
Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage our own emotions and other people’s – a quality that allows us to make decisions, solve problems and create relationships in a constructive way. Although emotions have a great impact on the quality of our lives, only in the last two decades have researchers demonstrated the numerous benefits of emotional intelligence for success in life.
Join us on March 7 for a lunch-time dialogue session where Dr. Bianca Briciu will discuss the four components of emotional intelligence and the role they play in academic performance, conflict resolution, leadership, communication and mental health.
When: March 7 from 12:00 to 1:20 p.m.
Where: G103
Coffee, tea and water will be provided, but you should bring your own lunch.
