Saint Paul University Professors Share Their Research at Collective Book Launch
OTTAWA (Ontario), Wednesday, January 22, 2020 – On Friday, January 24, Saint Paul University (SPU) will host a collective book launch to highlight the books its faculty have published in the past year.
Together, professors from SPU’s four faculties – Human Sciences, Philosophy, Theology and Canon Law – will showcase 13 books that explore a range of topics. These topics include activism, conflict resolution, counselling, theology and much more.
“Research is an important part of our role as academics,” explains Ramón Martínez de Pisón, full professor and co-organizer of the event. “But of equal importance is sharing the results and knowledge gained from this research. This launch is an excellent opportunity for us to share our work with the public.”
The event will feature a brief presentation of each book followed by a meet and greet where attendees can engage with the authors.
