Kenya has a history of recurring and escalating localized violent conflict. Civil society
and religious institutions have responded in peacebuilding, and since 2001 the
state has had a growing peacebuilding role. Based on field research, this
presentation focuses on the positive and negative impacts of state-led
peacebuilding in Kenya to provide insights for long-term peacebuilding.,Presentation
