Introduction to Nonviolence - from the Personal to the Political (HUM 1101 WS00)
Course description: Foundations of nonviolence and the relevance to contemporary life. Historical and religious perspectives on nonviolence, including the work of Mahatma Gandhi and other significant figures. Contemporary perspectives on nonviolence in the context of social movements and global challenges, such as ecological concerns, from personal to the political implications.

Open to all learners in any program, or as a stand-alone course. Auditors welcome.
