New Catholic Bioethics Program is First of Its Kind in Canada
The Graduate Diploma in Catholic Bioethics is designed to meet the educational goals of health care professionals who seek to provide leadership and counsel on bioethical issues.
By building a strong ethical and theological foundation, this program helps students develop a framework to address current and emerging bioethical challenges that arise from advances in medicine, technology and public policy.
This is the first – and only – program of its kind currently offered in Canada.
Who Should Apply?
This program is ideal for health care professionals who are interested in and/or responsible for addressing contemporary bioethical issues ethically and with a Catholic moral perspective.

EPE 6309 – Ethics, Philosophy and Public Policy
IPA 6134 – Ethical Issues at the End of Life
THO 6110 – Principles of Catholic Bioethics
THO 6111 – Topics in Bioethics across the Continuum of Care
THO 6112 – Research Practicum in Bioethics
Admission Details
Program Length: 5 semesters (1 course per semester)
