My main work consists of client service! I answer reference questions, technical questions, directional questions, etc. I also take care of the interlibrary loans and the books on reserve, and provide circulation assistance. In addition to client service, I shelve returned books and tidy up the stacks to make sure all our information is easily retrievable.

What is your academic/professional training?

I have a diploma in library and information technology from Algonquin College.

Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

I have seen the full run of The Golden Girls over 20 times!

What do you like most about the library?

I really like the periodical section in the basement!

What tip would you give our students?

Do not be afraid to ask for help! We are always happy to answer as many questions as you might have. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

Can you tell us about an interesting fact about the library?

The oldest book in our collection is from 1475 and it is a Bible commentary of the four Gospels by St. Thomas Aquinas.
