Creating Change through Creative Practice? A Symposium on Transformative Leadership, Arts and Community Engagement
Over the last decade, there has been growing interest in the role of the arts as an avenue for constructive social change. This symposium invites presenters and participants to reflect on the arts through the lenses of transformative leadership and community engagement. Together, we will consider these questions: How can the arts, broadly defined, help individuals and communities to imagine and enact alternative ways of being in the world? How can these imaginings and actions deepen our understandings of transformative leadership and community engagement? Join us for animated panel discussions and an artist talk on these topics!
