Left to right: Pierre Hubert, Ex-officio Director, Saint Vincent de Paul Central Council of Ottawa; Dr. Chantal Beauvais, Rector, Saint Paul University; Dr. Jean-Marc Barrette, Vice-Rector, Saint Paul University; Ms. Isabelle Crummer, SSVP bursary recipient; Dr. Yvan Mathieu, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Saint Paul University; John Farnand, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Saint Vincent de Paul Stores; André Beaudry, Chief Advancement Officer, Saint Paul University; and Bernie Hartlin, Treasurer, Saint Vincent de Paul Ottawa Store.
The bursary is awarded annually to an Ottawa Catholic School Board graduate who exemplifies the spirit of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. It honours students who demonstrate Catholic leadership at their school and are involved in parish activities and social justice and/or community service initiatives. Isabelle Crummer, an Ottawa native, stood out to the selection committee as she very clearly met all of the criteria for this bursary. Isabelle is in her first year in the Theology program at Saint Paul University.
We congratulate Ms. Crummer and wish her success in her studies and future career.
