A recording of this webinar is now available here.
For participants: a copy of the handout is available here.
The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (CICLSAL) in March 2018 issued Guidelines entitled Economy at the Service of Charism and Mission, building on the scriptural admonition to be "good stewards of the manifold grace of God" (1 Peter 4:10). This webinar will examine the provisions of these guidelines under three headings:
(1) the nature of ecclesiastical patrimony,
(2) the roles of administration and management within religious institutes and their works, and
(3) the limitations, issues and opportunities identified by the guidelines in the administration of patrimony at the confluence of canon and civil law.
