Canadian Water Resources Association (CWRA) 72nd national conference and AGM, in conjunction with the 10th Annual Canadian Water Summit
May 2019, 2019 - Part-time SPU professor Tom McAuley took part in this conference after proposing a plenary panel on ethics, in keeping with the conference theme: “Shared Water, Competing Ethics: Collaboration in Water Management.” Panel members included in water conservation practitioners working in First Nations, industry, agriculture, and municipalities.
McAuley set the stage with an opening talk, and co-moderated the panel with Rob de Löe.
“Water Week at Blue,” which took place at Blue Mountain Resort, Ontario, from May 26 to 29, was a collaboration of two of the nation’s premier water events, with expert keynote speakers, conference sessions, technical workshops, industry awards, and networking opportunities.
