Anna Levesque on KayakLeadership involves all of who we are, not only the work that we do. Leadership skills are based on open, relational, and transformative mindsets that imply the cultivation of social, emotional capabilities. These capabilities emerge through a positive mind-body relationship, which is foundational to leadership skills. It influences our confidence, authenticity, sense of freedom, aliveness, and joy. What are some of the means to optimize this relationship? Self-awareness and mind-body practices are the raw materials for cultivating the art of leadership.

We are currently witnessing a rise in women entrepreneurs who create sustainable businesses based on mind-body practices. What is the relevance and impact that they have?

We invite you to a discussion with Anna Levesque, award winning athlete, founder of Mind Body Paddle and author of Yoga for Paddling, whose work has empowered and inspired thousands of women worldwide. Anna created a successful business that combined her athletic success in paddling with yoga and Ayurveda wellness to help her clients discover their passion, develop self-confidence, find freedom and joy in an adventurous mindset. An inspiring leader herself, Anna works to develop the leadership skills of other women through coaching, yoga, kayak and paddleboard activities. Our conversation will explore the role of mind-body practices in “re-igniting your spark for life.”
