Baby Boomer aging and spirituality: The same or different?

The Faculty of Human Sciences and the Research Centre in Public Ethics presents:

Baby Boomer aging and spirituality: The same or different?

A conversation with Dr. Elizabeth MacKinlay

What makes later life meaningful? What gives a frail and isolated or institutionalized older person their sense of wholeness and self? As with previous generations, baby boomers wrestle with these and similar questions in their aging years. However, unlike the context of previous generations, fewer identify with organized religion, in which meaning has traditionally been found. Come discuss and explore how this current phenomenon shapes the spirituality of aging baby boomers.

Presenter: Dr. Elizabeth MacKinlay

Date: Monday, October 16, 2017
Time: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Laframboise Hall, Room L120

Free admission. Light refreshments will be served.

The presentation is in English. The conversation will be in English and French.
