Annual Lonergan Lecture 2019 - Dr. Hazel Markwell

The Lonergan Centre at Saint Paul University is honoured to present Dr. Hazel Markwell as this year’s invited presenter of the Annual Lonergan Lecture.

We invite you to come and hear Dr. Markwell’s lecture, titled

“Informed Consent and Feelings: Lonergan's Contribution to Medical Decision Making.”

Where: Amphitheatre (G1124, Saint Paul University)

A wine-and-cheese reception will follow Dr. Markwell’s lecture.

Dr. Hazel Markwell graduated from Saint Paul University with a PhD and a DTh in 2001 and is currently the Inaugural Chair in Bioethics at Saint Paul. She has worked in health care as a bioethicist for 25 years, both at the bedside and in the boardroom, and has lectured nationally and internationally on issues related to bioethics. She is also the Ethics and Policy Advisor to the Catholic Health Alliance of Canada.
