Dr. Judith Malette is full professor in the School of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality at Saint Paul University. She is a clinical psychologist who has worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, complex trauma, post-traumatic stress, burnout and compassion fatigue. Her research interests include professional ethics, trauma, compassion fatigue, and the complex and rich relationship between psychology and spirituality/religion. She recently co-edited two books: From Psychology to Spirituality (Peeters, 2019), in which she and two colleagues wrote a chapter on professional ethics as an ethics of the relationship, and Psychologie positive et spiritualité en psychothérapie (Positive Psychology and Spirituality in Psychotherapy; Presses de l’Université Laval, 2019), in which she wrote a chapter on happiness. Finally, she and one of her doctoral students, Nicolas Galton, recently wrote a chapter "Accueil et écoute des victimes adultes" in a book published with Bayard and that should be out in September 2021.
