The study of Social Communication explores the ways information is perceived, transmitted and understood. It also studies the impact of these on society while promoting engagement, accountability, open-mindedness and transparency in interpersonal relationships. The study of Social Communication includes cultural, political and sociological aspects of communication and the group interventions that result.
Offered by the Faculty of Human Sciences, the program in Social Communication allows students to acquire a range of communication and intervention tools to help them understand the world and interact with it.
