Description:

The seminar will illustrate how the basic moral principles that shaped Western Civilization have defined acceptable conduct in the world of business. The operative principles that determined fair and sustainable business practices will be examined in detail through interactive discussion based upon case studies and contemporary issues in the investment sector, accounting sector and related corporate scandals

A method of transforming one’s career through the habituation of virtuous action will demonstrate how a career can be incorporated into a person’s narrative to enhance their quality of life while contributing to their community in a productive way.

Business Owners (large and small), Corporate Executives and Public Service Employees

Objectives:

The ‘Ethics in Business’ seminar will give accountants, business owners, public service employees and corporate executives  an overview of the fundamental moral principles that serve to formulate social and cultural norms.

The basic principles of fair and sustainable business practices will be covered extensively. Seminar participants will learn how to align their practice to professional, ethical and regulatory standards. By doing so they will enhance their practice by delivering excellent client service, minimizing regulatory and compliance issues and becoming great advocates for their firms and exemplars of excellence in business.
