Description:

In his apostolic letter to all consecrated persons on the occasion of the Year of Consecrated Life, Pope Francis invited all consecrated persons “to embrace the future with hope” by going out into the world and offering a living testimony of communion and bridge-building. Within the context of canonical norms addressing formation of candidates (cc. 641–653), this presentation will highlight the North American social and demographic realities that must be considered when developing formation programs for new candidates.
