Saint Paul University proudly awards the 2016 Redekop-Kroeker Scholarship to Joseph Cleyn

Saint Paul University awarded the 2016 Redekop-Kroeker Scholarship to Joseph Cleyn, a student in the Conflict Studies program. The scholarship was presented at a ceremony in the Amphitheatre at Saint Paul University on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

Throughout their lives, Bill and Loreen (Kroeker) Redekop were committed to a balance between community service, family, and workplace. This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates both academic excellence and a commitment to the values exemplified by the donors, including integrity, service, generosity, and concern for the well-being of others.

The United Nations and Canadian Charters of Rights and Freedoms affirm that all human beings are born free and have equal dignity and rights. To promote the dignity and inalienable rights of the human person as the foundation of freedom, justice, and peace in the world, the Redekop-Kroeker Scholarship in Conflict Studies supports the work of a full-time registered student in the Master of Arts in Conflict Studies program who is focusing on an aspect of the resolution and prevention of conflicts.
