Saint Paul University and the Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy sign a new memorandum of understanding
OTTAWA, January 11, 2016 — Saint Paul University (SPU) is proud to sign a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy, effectively renewing the original five-year agreement that came into effect January 1, 2011. Under the terms of the MOU, SPU agrees to grant a four-year Bachelor of Theology degree to students completing the program currently offered by the Academy.
The agreement reflects the spirit of openness in the dialogue between the two institutions, which represent two different Christian traditions. The Faculty of Theology will work most closely with the Academy.
Founded in 1998 in Toronto, Canada, the Toronto Orthodox Theological Academy operates under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Toronto.
