  Academic Prizes and Distinctions 

 

Saint Paul University rewards academic excellence in the following fields: 

  1. Bachelor of Arts (general three-year or with concentration)
  2. Faculty of Canon Law
  3. Faculty of Theology, undergraduate program (with the exception of the Sheptytsky Institute)
  4. Faculty of Theology, Sheptytsky Institute program
  5. Faculty of Theology, Graduate Studies Program
  6. Faculty of Human Sciences, undergraduate program
  7. Faculty of Human Sciences, Graduate Studies Program
  8. Faculty of Philosophy

The distinction awards the student the amount of $1,000. 

 

The Saint Paul University Student Association also recognizes academic excellence. The awardee receives the amount of $1,000. Two other distinctions are awarded by the Saint Paul University Alumni Association.

 

Saint Paul University Ontario Graduate Fellowships (OGF)

Saint Paul University received an endowment fund for the Ontario Graduate Fellowships program (OGF) that offers up to 10 bursaries to students residing in Ontario who are enrolled in the second, third or fourth year of a doctoral program. The Fellowships cover tuition fees for three sessions. The students who submit a request for scholarships to a funding agency are eligible.

 

Academic Distinctions awarded by the Research Centres of Saint Paul University

Centre for Women and Christian Traditions: one bursary worth $5,000 and two worth $1,250 each

Ethics Centre: two bursaries worth $1,250 each

Religious History of Canada Centre: two bursaries worth $1,250 each 

 

Faculty of Theology

The faculty recognizes rewards academic excellence by means of the St. Peter’s Bursary for studies in Christian Spirituality. The distinction is accompanied by a bursary of $1,500.
