Research Funding at Saint Paul University
Research Grant Program: The mandate of the Research Grants Program is to support first and foremost those activities that form the preliminary steps in a program of research that will be submitted to an external funding agency with peer review within a specific time frame. It also supports the program of research of an investigator based on the stage he or she is at in his or her academic career, research projects in fields recognized by the University, as well as projects by new members of the faculty (less than two years).
Scholarly Conference Participation Program - Faculty: The mandate of the Scholarly Conference Participation Program - Faculty, is to support the dissemination of research findings that have been assessed by peers or an external funding agency, research projects contributing to the University’s areas of excellence, or the researcher’s ongoing program of research, or to provide funding to new faculty members (less than two years).
Aid to Publication Program: The Aid to Publication Program has four sections.
Section I - Books
Section II - Preparation of an Academic Work
Section III - Academic Journals and Open Access Journals
Section IV - Translation of a Work or an Article
Scholarly Conference Participation Program - Graduate Students: As an institution of higher learning, Saint Paul University seeks to provide an education and training in research that are as complete as possible. The University offers grants to its graduate students to present a paper related to their thesis at scholarly conferences.
