Professor Guy Marchessault at the Salon du livre de Montreal
Professor Guy Marchessault, from the Social Communications Program in the Faculty of Human Sciences, has published the second volume of his saga "À la conquête de l’Amérique" (Guérin Littérature, Montréal), under the title Les accommodements forcés. The first volume, Une victoire éphémère, was launched at the Salon du livre de l’Outaouais 2011. The third one, Les alligators de La Nouvelle-Orléans, will be presented to the public at the Salon du livre de l’Outaouais 2012 (March 1-4). He is currently writing the fourth and final volume of the saga: Far West à Los Angeles.

Professor Marchessault has published four books and many articles on media and religion during his 22 years of teaching at Saint Paul University. He is a former journalist and cofounder of Centre Saint-Pierre in Montréal. He was born and raised in Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Québec.
