Happening now: 10th International Conference of the Société Internationale de Théologie Pratique (in French only)
Theme: Discovering, Living and Announcing the Gospel in a World Transformed by the Digital Culture
We welcome to Saint Paul University the 75 participants in the 10th International Conference of the Société Internationale de Théologie Pratique (SITP) from August 4-8, 2016. The SITP is a learned society that gathers academics who teach and do research using the methods of practical theology. The conference participants come from universities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America.
As the theme indicates, the conference is designed for gaining greater understanding and theological interpretation of the new practices that take into account the digital environment in the church and in the world. The Web 2.0 and its multiple networks and interactions have accelerated a culture of connectivity that modifies the human relationship to time and space. (The conference is in French only.)
