Financial Aid
Saint Paul University is a recognized institution for Canadian provincial and federal student loans and bursaries (awards based on financial need), as well as those of American institutions. The Financial Aid and Scholarships Office informs students about these options and guides them through the application process, jointly with many government and banking organizations that guarantee loans or provide bursaries. Students may contact Financial Aid to obtain application forms and booklets, or to pick up loan certificates and bursary cheques from federal, Ontario, Quebec and other granting agencies. Saint Paul University Financial Aid Bursaries
Saint Paul University Financial Aid Bursaries are offered to full-time students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at Saint Paul University. A committee evaluates the requests received according to the following criteria: financial need or very special circumstances. These bursaries are offered to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and foreign students alike.
In order to qualify for a financial aid bursary, you must meet the following requirements:
Fall/Winter 2012–2013
- Be registered at the Saint Paul University during the 2012–2013 academic year;
- Be eligible to receive governmental financial aid* and have claimed your funds;
- Contribute financially towards your studies, as well as a contribution from parents or spouse, if applicable;
- Students who wish to apply for the Saint Paul University Financial Aid Bursary must complete the new financial survey available in your student intranet. Once logged into your student intranet account, click on My finances and select Financial Aid, then select New! On-line Financial Aid Bursary;
- Demonstrate financial need;
- Maintain a satisfactory academic standing.
Spring/Summer 2013
- Be registered for a minimum of 9 credits at the undergraduate level or be registered full-time at the graduate level during the Spring/Summer 2013 session;
- Have received government financial aid* (and have received your funds) during the 2012–2013 academic year;
- Contribute financially towards your studies, as well as a contribution from parents or spouse, if applicable;
- Students who wish to apply for the Saint Paul University Financial Aid Bursary must complete the new financial survey available in your student intranet. Once logged into your student intranet account, click on My finances and select Financial Aid, then select New! On-line Financial Aid Bursary;
- Demonstrate financial need;
- Maintain a satisfactory academic standing.
Fill out the financial survey and submit it online. Paper copies are no longer available.

The Financial Aid Bursary is available during the following time periods:

*The 30% off Ontario Tuition Grant (OTG) is not considered government financial aid for the purpose of this bursary.
