Evening-Conference: Why Would a “Non-Catholic” Study at a Catholic University?

Presenter: Mike Tapper is an assistant pastor in an Evangelical church in Moncton, New Brunswick. He recently completed his Ph.D. at Saint Paul University. His thesis examined an inconsistency between what Canadian Evangelicals state about their belief in the doctrine of the Trinity and the lyrics of popular music that Evangelicals sing. Mike found the academic experience of studying outside his own immediate faith tradition to be encouraging and enlightening. He is married with four children

Mike will share honestly about his unexpected journey of studying theology beyond the familiar confines of his own faith tradition.
