Programs:

The Faculty of Theology of Saint Paul University offers North America’s only bilingual (French and English) program (33 credits) leading to a Doctor of Ministry. This program is an applied research program designed to lead professionals to a deeper understanding of the plurality of forms of ministry. The Doctor of Ministry is intended for mid-career professionals who wish to reflect and build on their experience and who are likely to fill significant leadership roles within the context of their respective professional practices. Courses are delivered through the combined methods of web-based distance education and regular, intensive two-week on-campus sessions each year (one in the Fall session and two in the Winter session).

The MRE is designed to assist in the formation of competent practitioners of religious education: teachers and leaders in school systems, religious educators and catechists in parish and diocesan settings. The MRE is a professional program that combines theological reflection and educational methods. It is a three-year, part-time program offered through a combination of online and on-site activities (one 9-hour on-campus weekend per session required).
